The materials required for this course are noted below:

TEXTBOOK - PSYCHOLOGY, Wade & Tavris, 10th Edition, 2011. There are a number of alternative formats per this text.  The traditional hardbound print version (LCCC Bookstore), a less expensive  "Books a la Carte Edition" (Binder Ready 3 hole punch)---LCCC Bookstore, and a  "CourseSmart eTextbook"---Pearson Pub: www.coursesmart.com  The choice is yours! Note: In a recent study of over 20 Introductory Psychology texts, this was rated by students as the highest in "readability" and "interest." The textbook may be purchased from LCCC's Bookstore or the e-text online, e.g., http://www.coursesmart.com.

VIDEOS - A series of twenty-six videos accompany the course and are intended to deal with topics/areas not specifically explored in the text. Videos are broadcast on LCCC's cable channel, the dates and times will be provided at the beginning of the Term in Angel under the tab "Assignments."   All video programs are available in the LCCC Library for viewing at your convenience.  Videotapes  are also available in the LCCC Library to be borrowed for viewing---5 days with a renewal option.  In addition, the v ideos will be posted on Angel via "streaming"---you must have broadband connectivity.
